Did Cam Newton enter the NFL “Gag”?
Former Auburn quarterback Cam Newton paid tribute to Peyton Manning and it was… interesting.
If you missed the news on Monday, former University of Tennessee and Denver Bronco quarterback Peyton Manning announced his retirement from the league. After a long and wonderful career in the NFL, most would expect many heartfelt tributes with eloquent words to wish Manning the best of luck.
And then you have Cam Newton.
Former Auburn quarterback and current Carolina Panther joined the many people who paid tribute to Manning in one way or another, but this one was different. Very different. The text of the message appears to have been written by a child. On the other hand, I don’t know of any kid who types or texts this way. See for yourself.
“I entered this league gagging and still gagging my talents to this day in relation to the things YOÜ has done and accomplished.” Gagging? Are you serious, Clark?
I don’t even know what to say so I’ll keep shaking my head. Even Auburn fans want him to start typing like an adult. He returned to Auburn to graduate. Yeah, I know we’re joking about school but gag instead of gauging? We learned the spelling of this word in elementary school.
Some have noticed the capitalization of HGH in the word “high”. I’m pretty sure this isn’t a Manning HGH rumor dig after reading all of this jargon.
That’s enough on this one for now. I need to start taking an interest in what I want to eat for lunch.
