Falkirk East MSP Michelle Thomson announces four-day tour to various parts of the city this month
Falkirk East MSP Michelle Thomson announced a four-day tour of various parts of the city this month to listen to the concerns of local residents.
The SNP politician will start by arriving at the village store in Avonbridge at 2 p.m. on Monday August 16 before heading to the Slamannan Library from 3 p.m.
The next day, he will be in the Blackness’ Yacht Club car park from 9 a.m. before going to the Bo’ness market place from 10 a.m.
That same afternoon, Thomson will visit Dunmore Village Green from 1 p.m., the Airth Community Center from 2 p.m. before heading to downtown Stenhousemuir from 3 p.m.
On Wednesday 25 August the Falkirk East MSP will start their day at the Bowhouse Community Center in Grangemouth at 11:30 am.
She will then attend the old Skinflats Primary School from 2:30 p.m. and then set up in front of the shops on Carronshore Road, Carronshore from 3:30 p.m.
The final stop on the tour will begin outside Maddiston and District Old Folks Association, Maddiston, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 26.
This will be followed by visits to the Premier Mini Market in Polmont from 11 a.m., to the James Street Car Park in Laurieston from 1 p.m. and to the Grange Community Center at 3.15 p.m.
On his Facebook page, Thomson said, “I am touring the Falkirk East constituency on August 16, 17, 25 and 26.
“I hope to meet and talk to as many people as possible, and this is an opportunity for anyone who wants to raise issues with me to do so personally.
