PHOENIX – Fry’s Food Stores opens its new Queen Creek location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday morning.
Queen Creek Mayor Gail Barney will deliver remarks when the 127,400-square-foot full-service grocery store at 25105 E. Ellsworth Road opens at 7 a.m.
The first 250 online customers will each receive a $10 gift card.
“All of our new store associates are looking forward to meeting our new neighbors in Queen Creek,” said Monica Garnes, president of Fry’s Food Stores, in a recent press release.
“Our customers will not only find fresh and affordable food, but they will also find some of the friendliest and most caring associates who are ready to meet their daily needs.”
The new store will feature a modern design with a variety of conveniences people have learned from the grocer, including a cheese shop, sushi station, Starbucks, Chompie’s, an extensive wine department, clothing department, housewares department and a fuel center.
Chris Adams, who has 30 years of grocery experience at Fry’s Food Stores, will manage the new store.
After opening day, the store will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
