Jonesborough’s McKinney Center hosted the first of two “mini-markets” on Friday, despite rainy weather that lasted most of the early afternoon.
The McKinney Center will host another mini-market, featuring nearly two dozen artists and artisans, on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Shane’s Place will also be offering food.
The event is open to the public, with a suggested donation of $ 1 per person to participate.
“The June market will feature even more artisans, artists and manufacturers,” said Theresa Hammons, director of the McKinney Center, in a press release. “As our region’s COVID numbers decline and restrictions relax, the McKinney Center has added more vendors inside and out to give customers more buying options. “
Another round of mini-markets will be held on July 9-10. For more information on vendors and space availability, visit www.mckinneycenter.com.
