Nestled on the northwest side of Eau Claire, Broom and Crow have cooked up something very special to bid farewell to summer and kick off fall. With the sweetest herbs, candles, and messages in hundreds of spiritual learning books, there’s no doubt you’ll find something for yourself here. Gathered for one last summer mini-market, the magic in you awaits.

Broom and Crow is not just an ordinary store. Tabatha Voss, owner, emphasizes instead a ritual and spiritual atmosphere conducive to introspection. “My big goal … (is) to create a community space for pagans, witches and other magicians to meet and learn from each other,” Voss said. Of course, all are invited to discover the intimate details of the supernatural and how it can help people appreciate and grow in their daily lives.

Hosting events since 2019, Voss strives to recreate a larger celebratory space for all things wizarding. This final “mini” summer market will feature a handful of local vendors showing off their handmade trinkets – yes, everything on display will be handmade with special care – on Saturday September 17, from noon to 16 hours. Pay attention to jewelry, tarot, crystals and more.

Bigger events kick off on Saturday, October 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., see face painting, Halloween extravaganzas, and a Twin Cities area food truck among all that fun local energy.

“There’s always a lot to explore,” Voss said. “Seeing people’s faces light up when they walk in is one of my favorite energies.”

This store and upcoming events are opportunities for you to empty your mind and heart, and to do so with the support of a great community.
