Saucy crayfish brings great flavor to North Tampa
The Saucy Crawfish is now open at 926 E Fowler Avenue near USF Tampa. The menu is inspired by Creole and Cajun cuisine (the owners have a particular penchant for crayfish boils).
So why call this new hub The Saucy Crawfish?
“We love to see our friends and family get sassy at large gatherings. So we thought, why not call it The Saucy Crawfish, ”the owners write.
The concept debuted just a few weeks ago, but has already received rave reviews from customers across the region.
“From the drinks to the food, everything was on point, it wasn’t too salty or spicy, it was well balanced with the flavor of the OG sauce,” Sam P. writes on Yelp.
Pro tip: Several reviewers have recommended that you ask for the server named Dana.
Looking to improve your experience? Peach and mango margaritas might just be what you need at the end of the week. You’d better indulge in a basket of fried catfish and Cajun fires, or a plate of Louisiana crayfish.
Snow crab legs, blue crab, lobster and mussels are also on the menu.
You can enjoy its full selection of alcohol, in addition to a mix of non-alcoholic cocktails.
If you really want to treat yourself, you have to get the hushpuppies. Be warned, you’ll want to order these bucket-packed treats.
A gigantic plate of seafood pasta with scallops, shrimp and mussels is very present on the menu.
