Tiger Talk Axminster Town FC summer

The summer season at Axminster Town Football Club will see the return of some spectacular events to Tiger Way, as well as the launch of a new program for the youngest talent.
The first on the menu for local football fans is a superb “Tigers Family Fun Day”, scheduled for Saturday July 10, from 11 am to 5 pm.
The Axminster Town family will be hosting a special day of pure fun, complete with a bouncy castle, children’s entertainment, a nightclub and a convenience store from local vendors.
As always, there will be a special football theme, with Axminster coaches on hand to hand out the coveted ‘Tiger Talented Spotted’ cards to up-and-coming young players they’d like to invite for a tryout at the club.
The next spectacular summer at Tiger Way will take place on Saturday July 27th and is the “ATFC Summer Fiesta”, which will run from 11am until late.
There will be live bands at the club, lots of local ciders to try, delicious roast pork, refreshments, local shopping stalls, raffles and much more.
The Tigers also offer local businesses the opportunity to get involved in these summer events with a range of sponsorship and advertising options.
One choice could be to sponsor a box of cider, with same-day advertising, on social media and a free pint, all for just £ 50. There is also the chance to have a booth at the event and to donate raffle prizes.

From a football standpoint, the Tigers are close to finalizing a preseason schedule and preparations for what should be a great season in the South-West Peninsula League.
On the junior side, Axminster has launched a new Wildcats program, an initiative designed by the FA, which allows girls of primary school age to learn about football.
The sessions are led by FA qualified coaches and have been a great success at many professional and amateur clubs across the country.
The Wildcats will start on Sunday June 6th and kids can register on the Axminster Town Facebook page.
