West Seattle Blog… | West Seattle Liquor and Wine: Welcome, New WSB Sponsor

Today we welcome a new WSB sponsor, West Seattle alcohol and wine (4714 42nd SW). New sponsors have the opportunity to tell you about what they’re up to, so here’s what WSLW wants you to know:

The use of the adjective ‘first’ is only just beginning to describe the recently reopened West Seattle alcohol and wine store on the outer west side of Jefferson Square on 42nd avenue SW. This is no ordinary liquor store – the tagline is Unique and rare wines and spirits.

West Seattle alcohol and winethe inventory includes unusual and rare spirits. “We have things you won’t find anywhere else in West Seattle: bourbons, scotches, tequila,” store manager Dolly Edit says, “including all the local Seattle area bourbons.” Continuing, Dolly says, “Our goal, which I believe we have achieved, is to have the best selection of scotch, bourbons, gins, liqueurs, tequilas and vodkas throughout the state.”

Plus: “The store’s scotch section is absolutely the best in town, if not the state,” says Dolly. “You might never have found our single malts, for example, in Seattle before, such as Laddie Classic, Ledaig, Tobermory, to name a few. “

West Seattle alcohol and wine also offers an extensive tequila section, which aficionados call “fantastic mezcals”, and a selection of liqueurs from all over the world: Italian Amari, pastis from France, Cynar, all possible fruit liqueurs. And dozens of Washington-made labels are in stock.

The store doesn’t skimp on its wine selection. The store offers a wide selection of wines from all over the world. Unique selections not found in grocery stores.

Its merchandise also includes martini shakers and just about all the tools and ingredients to whip up cocktails – including drunk cherries, cocktail onions, plenty of bitters, even a special salt to top your margaritas. The list of complementary products includes ginger beer, sodas, tonics and many different vermouths.

Visit the store during its TASTING TIME, which takes place every Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The store’s tasting selections include varieties of bourbons, whiskey, rums, gins, vodka, tequila, liqueurs and more.

“Grocery stores wouldn’t have room to carry the more than 3,000 brands and sizes of alcohol that we currently have,” says Dolly, also noting that West Seattle alcohol and wine has a “great and wonderful selection of wines”.

West Seattle alcohol and wine is located at 42nd just south of Alaska at The Junction, open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. You will also find the store on its website, WSLW-LLC.com (under construction), on Facebook and on Google. By telephone: 206-923-5472.
